one for the chaps with their painkillers wrapped in their health care cards
going not very fast to where we already are
and they stand on the corners with the scars down their arms
and they dont mind the ring cos they are the alarm
but they still call on fathers day and say "Good on you mum"
and i know that Sean can understand
and i know richo can understand
young women comfy up there dancin in the street
in the moonlight way after midnight
a trombone playing up there down along the way
on the street light to my mind
one for the girls who'll be selling their shoes
to the foot fetishist just to buy a little booze
its a box full of wine for a winter afternoon
a box full of wine to help walk time
no we dont need the news
they'll need booze to ease the act of being used
toorahly-oorahloy-oh
toorahli-let the boy go
young women comfy up there dancin in the street
in the moonlight way after midnight
a trombone playing up there down along the way
on the street light to my mind
The Taxpayers were able to put down a tacklist of songs that allow us to go on a journey. In this album we experience the manic highs and lows one may experience in a life long battle with deteriorating mental health. The picture at times grim and beautiful is one I continually come back to as its tragedy never fades. Ulysses Johnson
